UNIFIL helping to bust Israeli spy ring in Lebanon
UNIFIL peacekeepers in Lebanon, whose mandate was to ensure that Hizbullah not be permitted to rearm or expand it's presence south of the Litani River following the Second Lebanon War, has been engaged in an altogether different mission - arresting those suspected of spying for Israel, Channel 10 reported on Thursday.
According to the report, during a debriefing of UNIFIL activities in Lebanon, one Spanish UNIFIL commander mentioned that his troops had been "looking for Israeli spies," and had in fact made a "number of arrests, mostly in Shia areas of Lebanon."

WASHINGTON (AP) - American households lost $1.33 trillion of their wealth in the first three months of the year as the recession took a bite out of stock portfolios and dragged down home prices. The Federal Reserve reported Thursday that household net worth fell to $50.38 trillion in the January-March quarter, the lowest level since the third quarter of 2004. The first-quarter figure marked a decline of 2.6 percent, or $1.33 trillion, from the final quarter of 2008. Net worth represents total assets such as homes and checking accounts, minus liabilities like mortgages and credit card debt.
Mr. Obama decided that there was a better use for our future earnings.

Not only is this the most blatant case of media bias. THEY WERE WRONG!
In the wake of the shooting by a lone gunman at the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, the usual suspects in the "news" media have been doing their best to place responsibility for this tragic episode on conservatives.
Targeting right wing talkers like Rush Limbaugh and politicians like Sarah Palin, the left wing media try to suggest that conservatives somehow inspired James W. von Brunn, an 88-year-old white supremacist to do what he did.
Rush gave examples on his show Thursday:
This is a montage of cable stations talking about the incident last night.
LAUTER (NBC): Clearly Obama's election has fueled the right-wing extremist movement.
MATTHEWS (MSNBC): This is a political action by a far right extremist
COOPER (CNN): The rise of hate groups in the United States of right-wing extremists.
OLBERMANN(MSNBC): Right-wing religious based domestic terrorism.
BROWN(NBC): Right-wing extremism.
WALSH: There is a rising climate of right-wing hate, a lot of it directed at Obama.
Newsbusters cites many more examples, such as Joan Walsh, Salon's Editor, who told Chris Matthews on MSNBC's Hardball that Rush Limbaugh, or anyone who criticizes Obama would foster the kind of thinking that led to this tragedy.
On the same program, Chris Matthews, postulated that Sarah Palin's stand against the further encroachment of the power of the federal government is contributing to right wing hate which might inspire such an attack.
Michael Rowe, writing at the Huffington Post not only blamed Sarah Palin's lack of political correctness (she doesn't agree with HIS view of the world) but insisted that somehow Christian conservatives are to blame.
Shooter was Neither Conservative nor Christian
The left was so quick to leap to their ready made conclusion that this event was somehow caused by conservatives that they ignored the mounting pile of evidence which proves it was not.

He denounced the Christian faith as a dastardly Jewish conspiracy, a “HOAX” invented by the Apostle Paul to “DESTROY ROMAN CULTURE” from within by undermining its pagan virility.

Like others on the racist fringe, the shooter proclaimed clearly: “SOCIALISM, represents the future of the West.”...Von Brunn’s motivation leaps off every page of his self-published “book,” Kill the Best Gentiles, a title supposedly derived from secret Jewish instructions to slaughter the goyim. Remarkably, his words have received little scrutiny, likely because of what they establish: the “right-wing terrorist” of the Holocaust Museum is an anti-religious socialist.
Somehow in its five-page excerpt of Von Brunn’s book, Salon did not find these quotations. I have chosen to reproduce enough of his writings to demonstrate they are not being taken out of context.
Hate Jews, Hate the Jewish Messiah
Although the hate crimes industry lumps neo-Nazis and White Nationalists in with the “Religious Right” – and occasionally, FrontPage Magazine, the better to smear you with – few Americans realize the true believers are not merely non-Christian but anti-Christian. He shuns the words of the Bible, exhorting his readers: “Remember, these delusions of grandeur were written by HEBREWS about themselves. Megalomaniacs of such magnitude generally are manic-depressives confined to insane asylums.”..."The Big Lie technique, employed by Paul to create the CHRISTIAN RELIGION, also was used to create the HOLOCAUST RELIGION ... CHRISTIANITY AND THE HOLOCAUST are HOAXES."..."WESTERN SOCIALISM, unlike Marxism/Communism and Capitalism, emanates not from Reason alone but from the ETHOS OF THE WEST. It expresses the instinctive and Intuitive feelings UNIQUE to the Aryan Nation. Its Idea is the Musketeers' cry: “One for All and All for One!” The ingathering of the White Nation-States into ONE CULTURAL ORGANISM."
Johnson also reveals that Von Brunn worked at a "bookstore" called Noontide Press which trafficks in anti-Semitic and kookville books. Noontide also published The Fateful Triangle by American leftist and fellow Jew hater Noam Chomsky. Johnson concludes "These writings could scarcely resemble the words of Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, or Karl Rove.
"Exploiting tragedy for political purposes is nothing new for the left. But in this case, the disinformation they attempt to provide is so blatant and offensive to the truth that it is itself a form of hate speech.
Source of Anti-Semitic Hate a Longtime Obama Mentor?
Perhaps the left wing pundits looking for a source of anti-Semitic hate should look again at Obama's long time mentor and spiritual guide, Reverend Wright who recently popped up in the news:
Asked if he had spoken to the President, Wright said: “Them Jews aren’t going to let him talk to me. I told my baby daughter, that he’ll talk to me in five years when he’s a lame duck, or in eight years when he’s out of office…"
Wright also said Obama should have sent a U.S. delegation to the World Conference on Racism held recently in Geneva, Switzerland, but that the president did not do so for fear of offending Jews and Israel.
“Ethic cleansing is going on in Gaza. Ethnic cleansing of the Zionist is a sin and a crime against humanity, and they don’t want Barack talking like that because that’s anti-Israel,” Wright said.
Of course that's nothing compared to the sermons that President Obama claims he never heard in the 20 years he attended Wright's church.
