Where are we going with all this?

Headline from The Blaze: “Walmart Refused to Create Confederate Flag Cake. The next day the same customer asks store for a cake with the Islamic State Flag. Want to guess how it turned out?”

You know the answer.

So what’s America going to look like in 25 years?

Well if current trends continue very possibly this:
  • After the inevitable economic collapse the year 2040 will see roaming tribes based on race, ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation fighting each other for the remaining few scraps of government handouts.
  • President Chelsea Clinton will be “elected” for a 5th term and the one existing political party will have made dissent of any kind a federal offense.
  • Christianity will have been banned after SCOTUS ruled it as racist, sexist & homophobic, with only atheism and Sharia law universally accepted.
  • All businesses will be state-owned and schools & colleges will serve as govt. indoctrination centers teaching the approved political correctness of the day and blind loyalty to those in DC.
  • Finally … the U.S. Constitution will be displayed in museums as an irrelevant and obsolete historical document.
Hyperbole?

Paranoia?

Perhaps … but after the past 6 and a half years who can be sure anymore.  It is obvious that President Obama and his Wizard of Oz, Mr. Soros, are achieving what they set out to do ---  fundamentally change the USA (change is not always good)!

My daughter just wrote:

"Though always appreciative of social media for expressing support or dissent, I shake my head vigorously knowing the majority fail to read beyond the tag line. So I challenge those with a rainbow pic to do their homework. Read the opinions, understand the dissent, look beyond the surface and recognize the significance of what bench 'legislation' means, look at the how -- not the what. BTW the case is Obergrfell v. Hodges. Happy reading."

Basically, we've converted personal preferences into constitutional mandates (paraphrasing from the dissenting opinion). This is a slippery slope. The history of the world is one of reaction with the ball bouncing from one side to the other and back.  Unfortunately, each bounce of the ball usually means war somewhere in this world.  The next steps could be animus as the motivation for the states' application of marriage law or any law for that matter.

I am in favor of arranging the laws to permit gay couples to arrange their domestic affairs in whatever way they see fit, and to have those affairs blessed by whatever authorities are inclined to bless them: Episcopalian church, Sam’s Club, Taylor Swift, Grand Mystic Royal Order of the Nobles of the Ali Baba Temple of the Shrine — it’s a free country.  I've never understood why we should recognize a group of people by how they have sex.  Duh!  It's a free country.  I just don't need to know nor do I want to know this.  Unlike Barack Obama, I did not arrive at my views on same-sex affairs recently and at a moment of political convenience.  I also don't believe I or anyone else should be forced to lie and say that I agree with this life style.  I don't.  I won't.  I will not!

But, that being said, the idea that lurking in the penumbras of our 18th-century Constitution is a fundamental national right to gay marriage is simply preposterous.

It is not there.

It is a fiction, and, just like the Harry Potter novels, the fact that it is very, very popular does not mean that it is not fiction.
